The Official Saint Web Site confirms that James Purefoy is set to play Simon Templar, alias The Saint, in a two hour TV movie/ pilot episode shooting early July in New Orleans.
- The newest version of The Saint, the Robin Hood of Modern Crime created by author Leslie Charteris, is being produced by Cajun Pictures, and directed by Ron Shelton (Bull Durham, White Men Can't Jump,) from a script by William J. MacDonald (Rome) and Burl Barer, author of the most recent Saint novels.
