Walla Walla — Tom Hodgins is alive, despite what you read.

I was born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington. Honest. It's a real place. It served as primary setting for my private eye novel, HEADLOCK.  The long awaited sequel remains long awaited, but a major plot point involves the history of this Walla Walla icon — the statue honoring the fallen firefighters of Walla Walla, Washington.  Walla walla fire statueI'll be in Walla Walla this week working on a project with my dear friend and radio mogul Tom Hodgins. Tom was murdered in my book, HEADLOCK, but that book was fiction. In real life, Tom is alive and well and ruling an empire upon an empire…well, he ownes some radio stations and a winery. In Walla Walla, that's an empire.

I'm bringing Tom an autographed copy of MOM SAID KILL.  The official release date is October 7th, but Tom deserves an advance copy. To get YOUR copy, simply contact your local bookstore. Or you can order it online from Amazon.com or any of your favorite booksellers.
